Software vulnerabilities caused by coding mistakes continue to plague commercial and government programs to the tune of billions of dollars of loss. Requirements for software security are prevalent but organizations still struggle with implementing effective policies.

This complimentary Software Security Assurance (SSA) workshop will demonstrate how HPE Fortify helps you reduce or eliminate security risk in software by removing exploitable vulnerabilities from application source code and preventing their re-introduction.

Attendees of this event will learn how to:
  • Identify and reduce risk from vulnerabilities in software
  • Implement security into the SDLC
  • Comply with government and industry regulations related to application security, including RMF, DISA Application STIG and NIST 800-53 rev4
This presentation is for developers, team leaders and security/IA professionals involved in the scanning and remediation of software applications and perform audits using the Fortify static analyzer and WebInspect dynamic scanner.
